Nestled within the historical alleyways of Oswestry, you will find us at BLACK NUMBER ONE. A private tattoo studio and artists space, residing in a 16th century Grade II listed coach house.

Nansi has been tattooing fineline and microrealism since 2017 after a ten year career as a successful graphic designer. When she isn't travelling internationally for guest appearances and teaching, she can be found working here on various art projects including graphics, commissioned artwork and tattooing.

Her books are currently open for ideas suiting her own style and progression.

Caitlin joins us with a background in photography and marketing, bringing a blend of creativity and strategy to the studio. Currently gaining her social media marketing accreditation from Meta, her focus is making sure you’re kept up to date with all the exciting work happening in the studio.

Anna, a southern soul who moved to the area at the end of 2020, Anna has been chasing the dream of tattooing since leaving college back in 2012. After years of bringing designs to life as a freelance graphic designer along with teaching graphic design and Photoshop to students of all ages, she’s finally traded in the classroom for the tattoo studio.

Savannah is in the first stages of her apprenticeship with Nansi but has always had a keen interest in the tattoo industry. With a background in graphic design Savannah is always keen to explore her style and develop herself and her work.
